The Ottspott Salesforce integration must be enabled.
"Ask visitor's phone number" or "Ask email address" must be enabled.
In order to match, your Salesforce contact record must have the same email address or phone number entered by the visitor. The phone number in Salesforce has to be in the international format with the country code.
When you have the Salesforce integration enabled , the Ottspott Phone Widget can match your visitor with your Salesforce contact record.
Slack notification with Salesfoce contact matching:
The Slack notification will display the name of the Salesforce contact record ("John DOE" in this example). Your agent can click on the contact name and a Salesforce tab will automatically open with the profile contact (see below the Slack notifiaction screenshot)
Your agent will also view the number of Opportunities opened for this contact.
